Kate's First Royal Engagement
TREADDUR, WALES - FEBRUARY 24: Prince William and Kate Middleton wave to the crowds after officially launching the new RNLI lifeboat 'Hereford Endeavour' at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey on February 24, 2011 in Trearddur, Wales. The newly engaged couple named the Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Station's new RNLI Atlantic 85 type inshore lifeboat the 'Hereford Endeavour'. Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton arrive at a service of dedication for a new RNLI lifeboat at Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Station in Anglesey, Wales, Thursday Feb. 24, 2011. The visit had been highly anticipated because the couple have kept such a low profile since announcing their engagement in November, making only one other prior appearance at a charity event. They plan to marry April 29 at Westminster Abbey with just under 2,000 guests attending. AP Photo

Royal Ascot is usually marked by pictures of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie in his daring creations.
And in 2005, he was commissioned to create the two striking headdresses worn by the Duchess of Cornwall on her wedding day. Click link for full report from Hello Magazine.com

Sarah Ferguson is Not Invited to The Wedding
Sarah Ferguson has not been invited to the Royal wedding.
About 1,900 invitations have been sent to family, dignitaries, charity workers and friends of Prince William and Kate Middleton but the Duchess of York was snubbed, royal aides confirmed yesterday.
Friends of 51-year-old Fergie claimed she ‘never expected’ to be asked and would have missed the ceremony anyway owing to ‘private plans overseas’.
She is also understood to have been reluctant to go to the ceremony ‘alone’. As cousins of William, her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are expected to sit at the front of Westminster Abbey while their mother, who divorced Andrew 15 years ago, would have been much further back. Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding
Ages-old British traditions will likely dictate many of the details exclusive to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s much-anticipated wedding, but as most broomjumpers will attest, the actual ceremony is only the beginning. Millions of viewers will get to see the grand entrance, the vows, and the official smooch, but everyone who isn’t close to the couple will have to sit out the reception, and with it, the bride’s opportunity to personalize her big day. If Kate’s public image as a playful, independent spirit is any indication of her popularity, these personal nuances are what the world will hope to read about most when it’s all over.
Electing the right designer to create a mega-dress fit for a princess and choosing which royal accessories will make the final costume are just the beginning in her dreamy marriage to an even dreamier beau. In the spirit of encouraging a spunky bride-to-be to enjoy the whirlwind process of getting married, here’s a list of five things Kate needs to stress less:
1. A chalkboard wall decal can provide a noncommittal writing space for organizing her thank-yous, designing potential bouquets, and keeping track of stress-eating credits and debits. Once the dust has settled, she can hang it where her hubby will see all the little love notes and reminders to pick up eggs at the market that make a union special.
2. Any child reared in the 1980s knows that owning a fashion design sketch set is necessary for planning a well-outfitted future. Kate can use hers to maintain her fabulous sense of style and successfully pull off presenting her best self during the photography frenzy she’s sure to encounter for years to come.
3. A small auxiliary refrigerator can help her hang on to wedding food samples thousands of British purveyors are dying to send her in the hope that she’ll choose them as official wedding day caterers. It would be a shame to throw away cakes and hors d’oeuvres fit for a queen when she could just as easily save and share them with her prince and pals during a relaxing movie marathon or parkside cricket match.
4. Picking up a few layerable gold charm necklaces or weeklong spa getaway packages for her flower girls and ladies-in-waiting will eliminate the need to shop at the last minute for wedding party favors.
5. When the most dreadful planning days have sapped her energy, she’ll want some high-quality sound speakers and a stash of favorite songs to help her cut loose. Once she’s nice and rehabilitated, she can test out a few songs that might make her first dances perfect. Still, there’s nothing wrong with forgetting about the wedding just long enough to hang up a disco ball, grab her prince’s hand, and enjoy a much sillier version of the St. Bernard’s Waltz.

"Prince William’s ‘Best Man’
Prince Harry has been named as Prince William’s ‘Best Man’ and Pippa Middleton, Kate’s sister, as ‘Maid of Honour’ at the British Royal Wedding 2011.
By announcing Prince Harry as ‘Best Man’, Prince William has broken with the tradition of a Royal Groom having ‘Supporters’ rather than a ‘Best Man’ … which suggests that William is determined to organise the wedding as he sees fit.
The bridesmaids are Lady Louise Windsor, 7; Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 8; Eliza Lopes, 3; and Grace van Cutsem, 3, Prince William’s goddaughter.
The page boys are William Lowther-Pinkerton, 9; and Tom Pettifer, 8, Prince William’s godson.
As Maid of Honour, Pippa Middleton, will be the only member of Kate’s family, other than her father, to follow her down the aisle.

Prince William To Wear His Military Uniform
In the run up to the Royal Wedding there has been much talk about Kate Middleton’s wedding dress and her choice of designer.
The spotlight has simply not been on William’s outfit, until now!
We now know that Prince William will wear his military uniform, but which one?
Prince William has served in the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force. He is currently working as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
Both Prince William’s father, Prince Charles, and grandfather, Prince Philip, wore the Royal Navy uniform on their wedding days.
Either way Prince William, in his military uniform, will be a hit with Kate! ‘Lip Readers’ suggested that she said “I love the uniform, it’s so, so sexy” to a friend, at Prince William’s Army graduation ceremony a few years ago.
Do you like Prince William in his military uniform? Which one should he wear? We’d love to hear from you. Add a comment here or send your thoughts to info@theroyalweddingwilliamkate.com

Coming to Great Britain: Kate Middleton-Inspired Beer!
Forget $20 billion in inheritance. Now we know why Kate Middleton is marrying Prince William: she wanted a beer named after her!
Titled 'Kiss Me Kate,' the beverage will arrive courtesy of Castle Rock Brewery and be on sale for the month leading up to the royal wedding on April 29.
According to Castle Rock’s head brewer, Adrian Redgrove, imbibers can expect a British beer full of British hops and barley. He says:
“Kiss Me Kate will be elegant, tasteful and British to the core. It’ll be brewed to 5%, pale in colour and, we’re sure it’ll be the ideal way to toast the couple’s future happiness. We’ll certainly be enjoying it in our celebrations here at the brewery.”
In less important wedding news, it's also been confirmed that 1,800 invitations for the big day were sent out this week.

Royal Invitations Are In The Mail
Start watching the postbox! ABCNews has learned that invitations to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton went out from the Lord Chamberlain's office on Thursday. Of course, most of the guests already know who they are since many of them received a save-the-date fax from the Queen a few weeks ago. The 1,800 invitees will receive a "traditional, gold-embossed handwritten invitation," according to the Daily Mail.
Several European royals have already RSVPed including one of William's godfathers, King Constantine, the former ruler of Greece. A spokesman for him and his wife Queen Anne-Marie and their son Crown Prince Pavlos confirmed to the Daily Mail that the Greek royal family received a fax and plan to attend.
